We have a 1760-V at our other location. VoIP is over MPLS to HQ. It has an FXO card which the fax machine is connected to.
Randomly something happens that the port locks up or drops out where the fax line doesn’t work. The only way to correct the issue is to reset the ports or reboot the unit.
The paging system and overhead ringer is also attached to the FXO card, but I am unsure if they are affected when these issues occur.
Any thoughts to why this is happening or what logging I should turn on to catch it? One issue with it is I never know when it happens exactly. Only when someone asks and usually that’s not until it’s been down a while.
