I just joined INE.COM, and now have access to the CCENT/CCNA content. I noticed while looking around the site, that NETWORK+ (Comp-Tia) content is also available.
Given the similarities/overlap between the two regimens, after getting through the CISCO Odom CCENT book, and the accompanying INE training videos, is it conceivable that one could aspire to taking both exams, i.e., CCENT & Network + (or vice-versa) in a relatively quick succession, or am I just dreaming … and no, I am not in any way suggesting that I think any of this is not as difficult as anything I have ever taken on: not at all.
I am merely wondering if it may be within reason to entertain such a notion.
Thanks

Network+ is more general than CCNA, which is vendor-focused on Cisco. As such, I think you’ll find Net+ to actually be easier.

Jump into a Cisco NetAcad. Thought Cuyahoga CC was one of them. Also—
N+ is much less than a CCNA. Typically after 50%–75% of the cource material most CCNA candidates are prepped for the N+.

I agree, I would suggest the CCNA is a much better approach.

Tackling the Network+ after achieving the CCNA is very feasible - I did just that, although the former covers a much broader spectrum & as such you’d likely come unstuck if you only had a Cisco Press base to draw from ( i.e. it was possible to go through the entire CCNA syllabus without knowing what a patch panel was). Pick up the Mike Meyers Network+ book & absorb the Professer Messer video series to fill in the blanks.

I totally agree with CrimsonKidA, NET+ will be easier to do than CCENT.
