I have one site where we have the primary domain controller which is in subnet of 10.0.0.0/24 and another site which has a secondary domain controller which is under a different subnet of 10.0.1.0/24,Its the same network just 2 different subnets in 2 different sites.I want to make the servers in primary site to talk to servers in secondary site and vice-versa.its a lab setup,I have read we can use Windows RRAS to achieve this as i am pretty new to this so i dont have any idea,could someone explain steps how to achieve this

I’m wanting to do something similar in VMWare with internal networks for labbing. I’ve been doing a little reading and came across this , which I haven’t been able to fully read yet. Maybe it will help you. Know this, that any device which intends to be a router needs to have a network interface on each network (either directly or indirectly) it intends to route for, so your server would need 2 nics (or nic ports), one on each site’s network.

It’s been a long time since i used RRAS as a router, but yes, you’d need to have a NIC on teh RRAS server in each network, then enable routing between them within RRAS

You would then make the RRAS server the default gateway for each subnet

what type of lab - virtual or physical?

It is easier to use a physical router/switch - if physical networks. or if virtual use a virtual router.

But if you do want to use RRAS then you can either use a separate RRAS server between both, or just add the role to one of these DCs and give it a second nic connected to the second LAN (assuming it’'s a different vlan or virtual switch, if not just add second ip to the main nic). RRAS will need no routes if it is directly connected to both networks. Obviously the RRAS server IP address on the correct subnet will need to be used by all devices as the default gateway.
