Im trying to figure out if spiceworks can do everything i need to do for inventory/purchase orders/vendor quotes etc.

Ive created a quote and sent it to a vendor. I would like to copy that quote and create a new one based on the one i previously made and change the PO number.

I dont see a way to do this without recreating the entire thing from scratch.

And in the “add item” line, there isnt a drop down with previously purchased hardware or anything for me to select the item id like to put on the quote i have to manually retype everything every time i want to make a quote.

Am i missing something or is this just how spiceworks handles stuff like this?

Hi Nick,

The purchasing feature is in it’s first release and we’re working on many enhancements. The ideas you suggest are really great. For our July update we are working on a way to send a quote to multiple vendors. Don’t think that would solve your situation but we can come up with a way to clone a quote. I’m sure Eric who works on this feature will chime in as well.
