Hey Spice

We have an existing 365 account/tenant that I’d like to create a new customer tenant. I’m the admin of the tenant/partner.

Where and how?

Thanks
Daren

So, will this be a sub-domain of the existing account, or is it somehow connected in any way?

This would be a customer with their own domain

Then they’ll need to work with their vendor to get that setup. There’s a tie-in because that’s how the billing is handled.

And if I want to be their vendor?

Do you have a vendor account with Microsoft? Are you able and authorized to their tenant to handle this?

They dont yet have a tenant. I want to create it for them. Or do they create it and i link to it?

They would create the tenant, and then (assuming you’re a Microsoft-certified solution provider) you would send an email request to your customer to establish a partner relationship. If you’re not a Microsoft-certified solution provider, then the only way you’d be able to have access to their tenant would be if the customer created a user account for you within their tenant and granted you the access you’re needing.

This is the key point here @darenfriday3 if you’re not already certified, you won’t be able to do this.

Edit: or to put it another way, it’s not a lack of ability, it’s a lack of permissions.
