I first watched this film with a couple of friends, and we weren’t ‘getting it’.
We were probably less than 5 minutes from turning it off…then something happened, and we started to chuckle.
Then something else happened, and we started to laugh.
Then something else happened, and we started to guffaw.
Before long, we were laughing so hard we were crying.

Like you, Son of Jor-El, I’ve struggled to get others to give this sleeper a chance.

Was not appreciated at the time of release that is for sure. Looking at it now, it stands up and is definitely an underrated classic for sure.

Ed Norton and Robin Williams were on fire for this one.
