Deploy Checkpoint VPN Client via group policy

Hi All,

Is there a way to deploy a checkpoint vpn client with all the site settings preconfigured via group policy?

We currently install using a checkpoint .msi file but whent he software is run for the first time we need to manually configure the client. is there anyway this can be automated?

The only way to customize using GPO deployment I’m aware of is a transform - you might see if that’s something that could help.

I thought that Checkpoint had a “packager” that configured up everything that was needed and allowed that to be run? What particular VPN client is this and what version of server?

Hey guys, quite new to checkpoint and at the moment we use VPN client R73 HFA1 and firewall is R70.40.

Just would rather be able to deploy the package automatically so we dont have to worry about mismatching configs etc.
