We have a Sophos XG firewall. We have had Avaya phones and the firewall was set to give out IPs for those Avaya phones on a certain VLAN. We are moving to a Teams phone system with Yealink phones, but we still need to have DHCP set the phones to use the same VLAN. I inherited this system, and I’m unsure how to get the new Yealink phones to take the VLAN settings like the Avaya ones did. Fairly sure it is a DHCP option, but haven’t been able to get that working. Any help would be appreciated.

When I had Yealink, I turned on lldp and voice vlan on the switches. The Yealink tells the switch that it’s a phone, and then the switch puts it on the voice vlan. I have Cisco switches. Avaya used DHCP. I see that Yealink can use DHCP too, it’s option 132. Note that it is phone model and firmware dependent to use DHCP.

DHCP Options for Yealink Phones

You shouldn’t have much issues with Yealink phones and VLANs.

There is a few ways to configure them for that. @kevinhsieh method is one of them.
More info tou can find on Yealink page.

Phone interface can be vary depending on the model you use. Be sure to set your VLAN as voice one. It will work on standard one as well, but for phones you want to use voice one.
