Hello All,

This error is really bugging me. I’m trying to get rid of an instance of an anti-virus programs that we use called “Vipre.” Windows is reporting that it sees 2 instances of the program. I’m in the Windows Management Instrumentation Tester" to apply the fix to remove one instance. The first image is what I see before the error comes up. The fix has been working great, but now, on this computer, I’m getting the error below (2nd Image).

Here’s the error message I get when I click OK. I’ve searched this error on the internet, but nothing I’ve tried works. Any ideas? -Thanks in advance

Are you sure the class name is AntivirusProduct? Error says this class name is invalid = wrong

How about searching AntiSpywareProduct ?

And what do you see when you clik “more information” on the error window?

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. So “AntivirusProduct” has always worked. It only stopped working on this computer. It’s a new Lenovo laptop. I can try “AntiSpywareProduct” to see what happens, but I don’t understand why it all of a sudden stopped working. When I click on more information I get the image below, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with that. Thanks again, -Craig
