Hi all,

I’d like to add the list of open tickets in Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk on a Sharepoint Site. I cannot find any definitive answer to whether it’s possible to develop integrations for Spiceworks. Older posts say yes, a newer post says no. Can anybody shed light on this topic?

I’m going the politician route and saying maybe.

This is not a native feature so you would need to be creative. The Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk currently does not support any scheduled exports so either you must manually do this daily, or automate through other means. You have two exports available to you – the native, built-in exports and reports, or you can use Power BI.

I have no experience with Power BI but that will probably be the most flexible option. Chances are that you could schedule that. Your SharePoint site may not be updated in real time but you could automate it to being decently accurate.

The older posts saying yes could be for the old on-premises version of Spiceworks, known as the Spiceworks Desktop (Inventory and Help Desk). Newer posts saying no probably didn’t consider the Power BI option.

Aside from being creative, there is no API to pull just what you want, you or someone else would need to login to the session for it to be visible which then may make things a security issue, so be careful.
