We have a client where one of the users has a Okidata B4545MFP. It is doing something weird however. Whenever she scans through the ADF, it duplex scans. I was on the phone with tech support for about 45 minutes and they were helpful but said the printer itself has no 2-sided scanning which is what I had seen in my own research. Yet it continues to do it. They are using Paperport 10 SE to scan documents with and I have looked through all the settings and saw nothing in the Printer Properties, the Paperport properties, the properties on the printer itself that is set to duplex scan. It’s the darndest thing and while I suppose it could be handy at times, this user often just does single sided pages and scans them and ends up with blank white pages after. They are running XP Pro SP3. Can’t figure out where to even look. Looks like they are using the TWAIN driver for the Oki printer. Any ideas would be great!

All good suggestions people. I think it was an issue with the driver/software suite. They were using a very outdated software suite (Companion Suite) so I updated that to the newest version and made sure the settings for quality, etc were all good and now everything works as it should!

A year ago or so, I picked up a 27" LG LED Monitor for <$300. They were quickly discontinued. The information I found was vague, but my understanding was they made them IPS panels but were actually supposed to be TN. I don’t know how that happens, but I guess I can see how it could.

{"@type":"Person
mitchellpayne
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/mitchellpayne"}},{"@type":"Answer
