I don’t want to receive EVERY email notification that Help Desk receives, only the help desk requests that are assigned to ME. Is there an option/setting to receive email notifications only when a task is assigned to me?

That would be a big help on cutting down the flood of emails all admins receive.

Control of the notifications on tickets is pretty granular, the link Lee provided is sufficiently detailed to do what you want. You might need to test a bit to have the matrix of notification the way you want it to be.

There is a rumor that version 4.6,due shortly, will include some improvments in this area…
