Hello,

We have a Hyper-V host with replication enabled to a different host. We are trying to enable BitLocker on the volume where the virtual disks reside, but the disk space shows full when started (I know this is expected behavior and should be temporary) and soon locks up the VM’s.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Should replication be temporarily disabled prior to starting the encryption?

You should setup a delay on the VMS so the systems can start properly without locks. IS that something you can do? I would also stop replication while starting up. THat is what we do with Starwinds VSAN (Not your same setup but I get it.)
