Enabling port on new Switch

Hi,

I am configuring a new CISCO CATALYST 3750X 24 PORT Switch, but in some reason I cannot enable any port.

This is command I run:

#conf t

(Config)# int g1/0/1

Config-if)# no shut

all ports are in default vlan which is ok for now. Is there anything I need to do before running no shut command since it is a new one.

I would appreciate if some one tell me how can I enable ports on this switch.

by default I believe all ports are enabled anyway. What’s the issue that you’re seeing?

They’re enabled by default.
