I really love this new site, but the single biggest thing I miss besides the daily challenge is the nice little link to take me directly to all unanswered questions. I created a custom link that showed me everything listed as question, but I couldn’t seem to filter on things like answered vs. unanswered, etc. Granted, I didn’t spend a lot of time on it, but some kind of global link would be really nice to have back.

Agree with this one. Would love to be able to see all the unanswered at a glance.

In the interim, though, you should try the advanced search:

https://community.spiceworks.com/search?expanded=true

It is muuuuuuuuuuuuuch better than the search on the vintage site, and you can specify things like how many posts, etc. so you might be able to get close to what you want.

One of the customized sidebar links I have while this is properly addressed, is this URL:

https://community.spiceworks.com/search?expanded=true&q=tags%3Aquestion%20order%3Alatest_topic

It looks at anything with the question tag and sorted by Topic Creation.

Thanks, Sean and Z. Sean, your link is very close to what I already had, but I couldn’t seem to find a way to filter on unanswered only. There’s only a handful that have actually been answered at this point, so it’s not overly cluttered with already-answered questions, but was just trying to figure out if there was a way to refine further. It’s really easy to miss the itty bitty checkbox indicating question has been answered.

This is something we’re talking with others on the team about. One of the things I was originally hoping to do was but a quick link in the sidebar navigation, but there looks to be an issue with the unsolved toggle where it is either showing nothing when you pair it with the question tag, or shows too much when you don’t have the question tag on it.

More to come, but this is one of the things on the list.

I’d prefer to see it here, since that part is always visible no matter where in the community you are. However, I’m fine either way, and will just be happy to have it back (though your improved search does the trick, too)!

I’ve added this into sidebar top left for everyone. We are also looking at options for integrating it into the homepage but that will take a little more time.
