We all have had to look for a job sooner or later. What resources do you use to find a new position? Also how do you evaluate the company or do you just take the position regardless of what the company might be like?

i’ve only had 2 jobs in the last 15 years, and the 2nd one was a personal offer, not me looking, so i have no input on this one.

All of the jobs after the army that I have had are sub par. They have all turned into basic help desk work, I am grateful for the positions however I wish that I could get back into networking. That’s what I did in the army and it was a blast, everything from running cat 5 cable in the desert to configuring the cisco networking hardware. The way I got the job that I am in now is I found it on I believe indeed (don’t quote me on that one) almost 2.5 years ago. I feel like my skillset is going to waste but the plus side is I work from home…

I was on a panel about job hunting, One on the ways employers look for new employees is using Linkedin. In fact one employer does not use resumes, he only uses linked in. With that in mind let us grow our network. Here is my link https://www.linkedin.com/in/tony-lamear-773773102/ .
