I found a workaround for flash not being supported anymore. Using chrome go to ietab.net, or just search for their extension in the chrome store. Install it and its secondary applet when you enable it (click the icon next to your address bar that appears, or if you have ‘plug-ins’ app installed it will be in that menu). Then access your portal using the second address bar that pops up when enabled (easier to go to portal first then enable, note:will make you login again). Network mapping should now have full functionality.

IETAB utilizes legacy plug-ins/extensions/applets (ActiveX, Flash, old Java, etc.) by running IE inside the security of Chromium based browsers.

I disagree on the details. And the product-plan is already outdated. An update of the product plan is planned. But I don’t know when it will materialize. As mentioned in that product plan, support of that legacy edition still continues although on a limited base. There was another announcement in May 2021, reporting that EOL has not yet been reached but will come by end of this year. It further announced that it will no longer be available for download since the beginning of July 2021.
So although with a different time-line, I agree that this should be taken into consideration how to continue, and how long with that legacy edition and when to migrate to what.
