Hi to all!
We are having a problem inside our office. One of the website that our developers are working for is not showing properly inside our domain. I think our firewall is blocking it. But outside our office and all over the world, the website is live and working just fine. But when we are going to view the website inside our office, the only page that show is the maintenance page. So maybe it is with the firewall.
Yesterday the website is working inside our office. Last night I restarted our firewall due to high memory usage. And I also enable in the proxy settings : Restrict Google Account Usage to Specific Domains. But I think it will not affect the website.
I also tried to add the url of the website to the Static URL filter, but still it didn’t work.
Please help me to resolve this problem as our developers need to work on this website. We are the only one that cannot view the website properly, but outside our network it is working.
Here is the website: www.ownthelooks.com
Thank you in advance!

Do a DNS lookup of the site inside your organization, and then outside. See if the IP addresses are different.

Some websites use ports that are different from port 80 and port 443. Most of the time the unencrypted websites that cause problems are sites that use port 8080 or some other port. We have a group of extra http ports defined in our Fortinet firewalls that allow these extra http ports. Also…it could be your anti-virus or another UTM policy that is causing problems. I suggest creating a specific rule for that site and placing it at the top of your rule list. You can then search the fortilogs and hopefully you’ll see the problem right away. A fellow FortiUser!

Setup a traffic sniffer on the firewall from the source address of your developer. This will help figure out what ports/addresses theyre targetting.
