I am currently looking at one towards the end of July. I am working with some vendors to see if we can get some love for the next meeting. I’m hoping to have some details rolled out in the next week or two.

Sorry for the delay, I wound up being hospitalized for a couple weeks. This really put a wrinkle in my master plans. I am working on rescheduling with the vendors who are presenting and I’m aiming for October at this point just to make sure that everything is set. I will post more details after I meet with the vendor this Friday. Again, apologize for falling off the face of the earth but this one bit me in the butt rather suddenly.

New to the group, as someone who is in school for IT, is there a benefit from attending these meetings? Or would i’d be drowning?

These meetings are for all levels of IT experience. Really we focus a good part on a Spicework feature, then a vendor will present on some features they can offer. The group is very supportive and helps each other out with problems, Spiceworks related or not. So I would think this is that would be great to meet like minds, and if nothing else get some free food and drink. We’d love to see you there.
