Hi,
I am looking for an open source graphics editing software like Adobe Photoshop. Where can I get it? I want to use it in a Charity orgranisation.
Thanks

I would agree, GIMP is good.
As an alternative, have a look at Paint.net ( Paint.NET - Download )
Which one you go for is entirely up to you.

For editing graphics, GNU GIMP .
For Creating graphics, Open Source Inkscape.

Creative cloud you can do monthly which might fit their budget better instead of a capitol expense. I know in education the monthly cost is about $20/month plus a 30 day trial might get you through what you’re doing.
+1 for Gimp! a great software and its free!

Haven’t found anything better than GIMP out there my friend. For vector software (more like Adobe Illustrator) go with Inkscape.

GIMP and/or Paint.net, both are really good and both are free. Try them out
