I have no clue if this is an original - but it was new to me. Got a great laugh out of it.
I'm interested in upgrading my 28.8 kilobaud internet connection to a 1.5 megabit fiber optic T1 line. Will you be able to provide an IP router that's compatible with my token ring ethernet LAN configuration?

Yo, man. If you string a bunch of tech terms together, you get mad internet cred. Christie knows what’s up.

If they left out “ethernet” it would have been legit.

Ah, Token-Ring, takes me back to the old Netware days of a 10Mbit ethernet network and 16/4 Token Ring card in all our Netware servers, purely to give access to the AS400 to the networked PC’s

Oh yes the good ole AS400’s on the token ring. I have not thought about those days for a while. First fulltime job waaaayy back in 1986 2 months out of high school and I thought this is it. We had the world by the butt.
I was so wrong.

Christie, we most certainly will be able to provide you with a fiber T-1 line and a router to accommodate your Token Ring Ethernet network. But first we will have to send out a service tech with the item below to fix your terminology issue:
