Group Policy not being applied to test user in OU

Hello,

I created a test OU to apply a drive mapping policy that I want to test. The OU is 2 levels down from the domain. I cannot get the policy inked to this OU to apply to a user in the OU.

The domain level policies are applied just fine. I have also used Item Level targeting to target the OU.

Just link the policy to the OU, if you do Item-level targeting > action> update apply to a group that’s the best way to achieve.

add the users to the group, logout and log back in to apply the policy

I would not do OU targeting. If you have it linked to the OU that the User is in there should be no need to do OU targeting.

Can you post the settings you are trying to apply? Screenshots would be helpful.

What is the targeting?

The User is the only one in this testing OU where this policy is linked?

Are you using security filtering on the GPO itself?

What does GPResult /h say for the user?
