Happy World Password Day! Passkeys are passwordless FIDO credentials and an alternative to passwords. Passkeys are faster, easier to use, and more secure to use across devices. Carla Roncato, VP of Identity at WatchGuard has this to say about passkeys on the vmblog “We should all consider adopting passkeys. As a form of passwordless authentication, passkeys aim to eliminate the inherent risk factors of traditional credentials.” Using fingerprints, a face scan, and screen lock pins to login instead of using passwords gives users some protection you don’t get with passwords or SMS one-time codes.
Have you started using passkeys?

We have not. We have just started introducing security keys. Passkeys may be the next thing.
We already have MFA, machine auth for VPN connections and we are looking for solutions to use biometrics.
