I’m here. I’m on around 12 hours now. Skipped lunch though.

Mine longest shift was 72 hours once during a blizzard.

Well, when I did a full time, part time and school I pulled a 72 hour of straight work and classes if that counts. Longest I’ve been in the office at one time though is 24 hours

That doesn’t count for you SAM your a robot, everyone knows that. It’s much less impressive when you don’t normally require sleep. Longest if you include school and part time for me would be closer to 96 hours

Well, if you count the fact that I do a karaoke show on Friday nights, as well as my day job, that makes for about an 18 hour day. But at least I can drink at karaoke…

Back when I was with IBM we had a “situation” where someone on another team deleted a bunch of VMs. I was up for 4 days straight helping to restore all those. It was really fun when we figured out the backup team wasn’t so we got to go back to the physicals and do what we could to p2v them and try to pull the data back to current from other sources…

I agree with John,what the hell are you doing building a laptop? Also…yall work too much i may get a 16 hour day in during a project + busy season but normal 8 hours almost every day. Maybe yall need to be reevaluating your current situation? But thats just me, i like my time with family.

I can’t see living at work the rest of my life. My manager seems to think that is what IT has to be. Any thoughts as to how to balance work and family in an environment so heavily dependant on IT?
