Hello there, I just joined spiceworks and I think it is brilliant. I work in the IT field for more than 15 Years and I hope I can contribute to the community as much as I can learn from everyone here.
I actually never heard of spiceworks until I started my new job this week.

As a new user to spiceworks myself I have to totally agree with you.
I never knew about spiceworks until I started using it at work.
The community is great here, i totally recommend having a look at some of the how-to’s.
One that stands out was the God Mode function. (Won’t be long and someone will link it in the comments)
I need to run, a user is having problems with a printer.
But again welcome to spiceworks!

If you like the new profile pages, I suggest going to make one here: ** http://community.spiceworks.com/people **
As a little warning- once you have a ‘people’ page you won’t be able to see your old profile anymore. I think the people pages are pretty awesome for showcasing your IT projects. They are currently missing some of the functionality that old profiles have, but we will eventually build out everything that should be there. Hope to see you around more often!
