Hi All,

I’m looking for a cost effective secure system to look after asset tracking, help desk tickets, change control

I don’t mind having separate systems if there a good reason but as we gets lots of calls for equipment across a group of companies I need something cost effect and secure to tie all of this information together whilst not being to complex if that’s even possible (also a mobile front end would be a nice addition)

Open to ideas / suggestions and thanks in advance

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I have used a few different applications over the years for asset management, tracking tickets, workflows, Knowledge base articles, etc.

The three that I have primarily used are TeamDynamix, Salesforce, and Track-IT.

Depending on the industry and size all may suite your needs, but I believe that TeamDynamix is the best out of the three.

TeamDynamix is great for asset management, help desk, and knowledge base articles

It was the most user friendly, and aesthetically pleasing.

We pushed staff to write self serve articles for end users, this drastically cut down on Help Desk calls for things, like simple software installs and troubleshooting.

I have only ever been an end user of the products and not an administrator. I believe that of the all would be fairly easy to setup and maintain with the data entry and structuring being the most time consuming.

Quest KACE does all the above but isnt the cheapest solution in the world but does it well.

Maybe have a look at LanSweeper.

You might take a look at a Manager Engine Service Desk. It can do everything you are looking for, plus some extra features. I’m currently using the cloud version and have been extremely please with it.
