I’m having a weird issue with the helpdesk hopefully someone can help.
I created an email address helpdesk@mydomain.com which my users can email with their trouble ticket and spiceworks automatically creates a ticket.
That part works great, however … for some reason, the email address helpdesk@mydomain.com gets added as a “CC’d User” and then all activity on the ticket gets sent to that address again, creating a kind of loop generating a bunch of blank comments, and sometimes opening completely other tickets with blank details.
Hopefully this makes sense, has anyone else had this issue? I’m new to spiceworks so maybe I’m missing something …

Ok, I figured it out … sorry to waste a post.
For anyone else having this issue, it was a simple fix:
Goto Email settings → Show Additional Settings → and add your helpdesk email address to the “CC Email Filter” option.
