I think I remember a clean version out there somewhere that was used for an episode of Family Guy, but what’s the point in that??

On reading the subject line, I thought of “Help!” by The Liverpool Four … I see it’s already on the list and very appropriately in first place.

I was thinking anything by Master Boot Record, but I think that’s cheating.

I used to listen to a lot of Cradle of Filth in college. Two things: their album Damnation and a Day, in my opinion, was their pinnacle. I don’t remember which album Coffin Fodder was on, but it wasn’t one of their best tunes. Also, they gave me terrible nightmares.
These days, Ayreon is on a pretty regular rotation. The album “The Human Equation” is phenomenal. All of the Ayreon albums have a plethora of guest vocalists and performers, well worth your time to look at. Also look at Leprous and Anneke Van Giersbergen.

I can’t believe that nobody picked Rush - Working Man

It shall be added!
I was in Walmart the other morning getting some groceries and they had Subdivisions on. It was a little weird.
For me the two quintessential songs are Something’s Gone Wrong Again by the Buzzcocks
and Born of Frustration by James
