Unitrends 9.1.1-2.201701181604.CentOS6 Free
ESXI 5.5 Free
Agents installed on the Windows VM’s.
I would like to do a test restore of the VM and don’t see a way to restore to a new vm (different name that the production VM).
How can I do this?

Jeremy - Thanks for using Unitrends Free! Did you know that we have a support community dedicated to Unitrends Free that is manned by our support engineers? This is the best place to post questions like this for a speedy response.
With that being said, I believe that you’re trying to do a dissimilar BareMetal restore from a virtualized Windows client to another virtualized Windows client. Is this correct?
That sounds correct. I basically just want to restore the entire VM but not over my production VM for testing. I have tested file recovery just fine but I want to test for a scenario where I would need to restore the entire VM.
I don’t see any way to create a bare metal backup.
Thanks for confirming. To create a BareMetal backup, you have to create a schedule for this. This is covered in the guide I linked to above.
That link has an error. I see no way to schedule a bare metal backup. I only see below.
Jeremy, we use integrated bare metal, so the recovery is performed from the file level backup. Select the file level backup strategy you wish to use and recover following the instructions in the Bare Metal Protection and Recovery Guide . Thanks!
I follow through the instructions but I cannot see where to access the integrated bare metal recovery ISO images.
It says " you should be able to access the Map network drive option after selecting Computer"
I can’t figure out where to find this. There are no screenshots in the documentation on exactly where this is and I believe that I have looked everywhere.
