We’re about to release Spiceworks 4.0 for alpha testing. When the build is ready we’ll post an announcement in the 4.0 group with information on how to download the build. (We’ll also send all members of the group a PM).

If you’d like to help, please join the group and subscribe to the digest . We’ll let you know when the build is ready to download.

Absolutely. But you probably don’t want to “ugrade” from 3.6 production to 4.0 alpha/beta. Only test the beta and upgrade when it releases as stable.

It’s getting close. We should have an alpha build within a week or so for you to try out. As Scott said definitely don’t upgrade your 3.6 production to the alpha/beta builds.

I’m just evaluating for now, so there won’t be any (big) loss if something goes wrong.

Any way, I have backups.
