Hi all,
New to spiceworks and having some issues with setting up the remote agent and settings on the central server, I am putting in the details for the central server (my PC with the spiceworks client on it) but I am getting back server is not responding. Please see picture below.
Please excuse me if I am being a little stupid here site name is one I have made up, central server is the IP of my machine and the port is the port being used? I cant get any further because it wont allow me to get past this point, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try putting the IP of the server in Site Callback?

You might first start by making sure your Central Server is accessible from the server you are trying to configure (we’ll call this your Remote Collector; Remote Agents are something else entirely) from your Remote Collector, via port 443. I usually use telnet for this.
Site Name: Can be totally made up. It’s a friendly way for you to identify which “site” is which.
Central Server: Needs to be the IP address or FQDN of your main - or Central - Spiceworks install.
Central Port: Your Central (main) server’s port number. By default, this is port 443.
Site Callback: The IP address or FQDN of the machine you are currently configuring.

Hi, I have tried the steps above to no avail, I have although noticed it is not displaying HTTPS in the url bar (ee picture). Do I need to set anything up before the stage I am at I assumed this was the first place to start.
Thanks

Jack,
Anytime man. I think we might be jumping the gun a bit here. Have you reviewing the documentation on Remote Collectors yet?
