Anyone available to go through an overview of spiceworks?

I’m an IT consultant looking for a way to manage my clients remotely. Have a few questions if anyone has time for a chat.

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

Spiceworks isn’t really meant for “Remote Management”. Of course, this all depends on what your definition of Remote Management is, but it doesn’t include any Remote Control, Endpoint Protection, Remote Backup, etc.

Spiceworks Help Desk is meant for Help Desk Ticketing and Inventory functions. It does include some reporting, but if you are looking at using this at multiple clients for management, such as for MSP services, there are other products that may better fit what you are trying to do.

With Spiceworks, in order to do anything on your customer’s networks, for networks with multiple computers you would probably want to install a Remote Collector:

If there are just a couple/small number of computers where a Collector may not be ideal, you can install a Spiceworks Agent on each computer:
