How can you rescan a device that has changed IP addresses.

I have a device (Laptop) that was previously scanned on ip address 192.168.2.6. I is now on 192.16.2.3. When I try to rescan the device, it appears in the inventory as Offline. I am currenly using SW 2.1

try a complete network scan it should then pick its new ip address up and update

If the network scan doesn’t work, delete the device from your list and let the scan pick it up the next time.
