More to the point, I recently wrote an article on how not to manage staff redundancies , thanks to a very personal experience with just that recently:

So I’m interested to know how many IT managers out there disagree with me on this? Or more to the point, if there are any who agree and perhaps didn’t or hadn’t thought about it much. For if one person’s experience is improved through this article, it will have been worth the writing and sharing.

It’s on dev.to a platform I like to publish one because of it’s slick Markdown entry, which means I can mostly copy from my notepad (Joplin) in which I keep abundant notes on the fly and work them up and tidy them just a little to for a useful sharing. I love the way they post reading time estimates too and provide generally a nice tech blogging structure with Forem.
