The long anticipated Haswell update for the remaining HP Elitebook notebooks have been formally announced. These follow the three recently announce HP ZBook Mobile Workstations and the HP EliteBook Folio 9470m.
I’ve had a bit of hands on time with a few of the new units and was very impressed by the weight and size reduction. Other notable items include the move to a side dock connector, and the 14" touchscreen option.

Tim, during my search for a post in which a customer inquired about HP products with Haswell, your post was retrieved. I had located a third party article on HP’s intranet but find your post more informative. I have shared your post and am about to append to a ping to a member who has been eagerly awaiting to purchase the Elitebook with Haswell. Thanks very much for the post.

Not quite the business line, but as the Director of Technology for a school, i’m liking the look of the new Envy Touchsmarts (HP's all-in-one Envy 23 Recline puts the touchscreen in your lap - The Verge). We have three year old touchsmarts in some of the classrooms now, but that was early windows 7 with the Touchsmart overlay that worked for some but not for others; with Windows 8 and a Touchsmart designed with it in mind, i like the possibilities.
