I’ve used BrightSign hardware > easy initial setup, easy to use, left it in the hands of the administrative assistants to update the content…they haven’t called back for assistance. Although they are rather $$. The plus side is you’re not connecting e-net directly to the TV/Monitor.

Yodek.com, Xibo & Anthias (screenly.io) are open-source apps that work well for software-based digital signage. piSignage uses a raspberry pi as the intermediary hardware device. Haven’t used it…yet. That’s my next project.

{"@type":"Person
stonemann541
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/stonemann541"}},{"@type":"Answer
Wouldn’t PowerPoint allow you to display a slideshow to perform this action? or is this more accessible on the backend by the HR staff?

LOL, you could go low tech and use a VCR, or even burn the slide show to a disc and play it with dvd unit.

{"@type":"Person
banyonjarvis
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/banyonjarvis"}},{"@type":"Answer
For a TV in the employee breakroom displaying HR content, I’d suggest looking into Scalefusion’s digital signage solution. It’s a great option to manage and broadcast web-based content efficiently. it lets you schedule and control what’s shown, ideal for circulating HR announcements, updates, and more without much hassle. it’s a more cost-effective solution compared to others.

{"@type":"Person
alok-scalefusion
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/alok-scalefusion"}},{"@type":"Answer
