I need the IP address used by spiceworks so I can log into my app on my iPhone 4

You can get the local IP address from the computer or server that Spiceworks is installed on.

If you are trying remote access from outside your local netowrk, then you will need your external IP address and you must forward the Spiceworks port 9765 or what ever port you assigned at install.

it is the ip address of whatever computer you installed it on, at whatever port you set it to be.

Sorry to be so vague, but that’s what it is. There’s not set IP for Spiceworks itself, it depends upon the computer you installed it on.

To find the port, you can right click on the tray icon and choose preferences. The port is listed at the bottom in Network Options.

If you are looking to access it over the internet you will also need to do some firewall configuration.
