Hello, all. Spiceworks looks like an amazing product but I’m just wondering if it is right for me.
I run a MSP shop and am looking for an product that will monitor my client’s networks. I really dont want to have 20-30 installations of Spiceworks for each network (or is this how most people operate?).
Also, for the Help Desk portion of SW, can I have multiple clients use on HD or will I have to install SW on each network?
I hope I am explaining myself clearly. If not, please let me know and I will clarify.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi Juan, welcome.
We are an MSP too and have made leaps forward with our business and service we provide our clients since implementing Spiceworks.
For your reference there is quite a bit of MSP specific information to be had in the community.
Remote Collectors are ideal for gathering Inventory, alerts etc from remote client sites, take a look at Remote Collectors and Collecting Remote Office Inventory using Multiple Spiceworks …
Using Remote Collectors you get to nominate a site name and that can/should represent both client and site when used by an MSP, then all the filtering, reporting etc, can be setup for each client.
There is also the IT Service Provider group where discussions occur specific to MSPs using Spiceworks.
You should slo take a look at Spiceworks MSP Guide it has a lot of outines how Spiceworks is being used by MSPs.
If you have additional questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks Lawrie. I will read over this stuff this weekend. I have been busy travelling and haven’t had time to sit and read.
Thanks, again!
