we use RDX Tandberg solution with a lot of customers but we can’t more find nor unit nor cartdrige to buy
So,
Do you known if Tandberg is in business?
And any suggestion to replace rdx with other local offline solution?

I hope so but I’m afraid not: looking on European suppliers we can’t find anything available

not sure about sales in Europe, but the American 888 number answers

EDIT: they have an international number +1.858.571.5555 INTERNATIONAL

but i only see North and South American locations on the site

Personally, if it was me, I would start researching different brands since you are apparently having issues sourcing Tandberg.

Tandberg isn’t the only company that makes RDX cartridges. Just search for ‘RDX Cartridge.’ Dell, HPE, Imation, and IBM also brand these cartridges.

They seem like kind of a scam. They’re just an ordinary-ish SATA drive in a fancy clamshell, for twice the price.

Unfortunately you can’t just break the clamshell and put any ol’ drive in it, because the firmware is customized to prevent that.

I only remember Tandberg selling the Teleconferencing units until cisco bought them out.

The Dell ones are (were?) made by Tandberg; I will take a look at the other brands suggested, thanks.

you are right: I try to change a 320gb rdx original hd with other hd but it isn’t recognized and that rdx hd isn’t recognized if directly connected to sata port
