I see a lot of post about sys.admin day and i want to get my manager something. First of all is it really the day and what can i get that’s cheap. note im not cheap but dont have much cash on me right now.

Sys Admin Day is always the last Friday in July.

I usually start peppering the noticeboards with posters a week before hand and last year I got a card and a candy bar.

So far today, I’ve had a donut and a new box of paperclips

Give your boss the day off… that’s what people need these days. Or that is what I need… 2 days off in the last month, working 3-4 hours after everyone goes home.

I say go with what mayberts said… it’s small, it’s cool looking and it has LED’s. Anything that plugs in and lights up is awesome.
