Hello IT Pros!

I want to put together a quantitative metric-based IT Assessment with goals, progress with dates, deadlines, etc.

I am sure I can probably do it in Excel or MS Project from scratch, but I think that there may be already IT tools/templates out there for this purpose that automatically calculate the data as it is being entered (such as % complete). I would prefer not to build this from scratch if possible

Are there any tools/templates out there that would help with this? Doesn’t have to be Excel or Project. I would greatly appreciate recommendations. Thanks, everyone!

It likely costs you some money, however, there is SAP SuccessFactors.

Also can look at Microsoft SmartSheets which is more of a project planner than a performance evaluator.

I was never involved in such audits and their management. But I know how I would search on Internet. Automotive industry uses such a framework for their processes, including audits. Hence, I’m sure that you may find tools and templates their. SPICE and AutomotiveSPICE or AutoSPICE have been keywords in the past. While these keywords remain valid, there exist international standards in addition. Here is a platform with further info. You may want to have a look on their link list for organizations and companies involved in the subject. I see also ASPICE used, as something similar and more specific then AutomotiveSPICE. It has also papers for free download about components of their process model. And SPICE is also used outside of automotive industry, e.g. aircraft industry. This industry does not only consist of large corporations but also much smaller suppliers. So don’t think that tools are only for large corporations.
