My laptop screen is not working properly, looks like damaged screen. However, if I restart and shutdown several times laptop screen comes fine.

When the screen is blur, I can still hear the windows login sound in the background.

Pls suggest to solve this issue.

i would check the Graphics Driver first. Uninstall every, then reinstall.

If you have the possibility of trying a second monitor, I’d check that second.

So you have the opportunity for troubleshooting. Third check the OS. Fresh install could as well do the trick.

These checks leave as last Option a Hardware error. In that case call HP support.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I’ll proceed with OS reinstallation and install latest driver version.

One thing to mention. Screen blurs even at the BIOS screen. So, do you think it is a driver/os issue?

Hi, if you’re seeing the issue even before Windows loads, I would say it’s more likely a graphics issue.
A possibility could be the connection of the connector in to the back of the screen itself, but, that depends on whether you’re moving the screen/lid at all between attempts. I’d say it’s doubtful.
If you have VGA (or DisplayPort, or HDMI) output on the Laptop, it would be worth connecting to an external display to see what you see then.
