I still need to see more reviews and also how durable this new laptop/tablet/book is from Lenovo but overall this thing looks incredible. Just one of the many things that stuck out to me from the recent CES 2023 event. I feel that we have seen dual screen laptops before (Recent ASUS ZenBook) but not quite like this. Most certainly not with the other screen being the same size. I’m very interested in this and will definitely keep it in mind if and when I decide to get back into the laptop/tablet/book market.

Looks cool! I like that it’s 2 separate screens instead of going the bendable route. Should help a lot with durability.

The stand looks flimsy and the physical keyboard needs a good stowage option.

I predict this will be one of those devices that will show up in tech museums in a few years and everyone will look at them think ‘wow, why did they design something so ridiculous?’

@donovanmoretz6276 Haha you could be right  Who knows though! I bet people called Steve Jobs early ideas crazy like the iPhone. Look how successful those became though!

I’m a bigger fan of Lenovo’s folding laptop/tablet. Unfortunately, the ones they currently offer are a little too “small” when it’s in “laptop” mode. I’d love to see something with a footprint of an XPS 15 that folds out to something crazy like a 27" display.

It all comes down to what quality of FFC cables join this all together.

Really cool. Thanks for sharing. It will be interesting to see how it holds up. As with anything IT, I can it is many places for “issues” but I also see tons of value in it. I appreciate you taking the time to pass this along. Thank you.

@shreddie Yep, no doubt there will always be areas where flaws are possible not matter how much in house testing and durability hardening you do. Once its in the hands of actual users its free game  Hopefully they understand what hell this thing can be put through on a daily basis by users and really nail the durability of it. I could see this becoming many people daily use laptop purely for its versatile compatibility. Even If it doesn’t become the standard for tablet, laptop, book type of devices, I just hope that its a good learning opportunity for all electronic manufactures in the business

I hear ya. I think of how many people I work with that say how they just can’t work without dual monitors. I myself think how multi-monitors are needed for my job. Plenty of opportunity, it is just whether the quality is there. I like many of the “extras” they thought of to add value. It will be a matter of whether it is durable and the quality is there and whether the “extras” are truly valuable, or just gimmicks.
