Ok so quick question when pairing up mobos and cpus. As long as the socket matches it should be all good right? Ive been lookin at a few biostar Mobos that are LGA 1156 socket and im gonna be using an 1156 i3 in it. In the details pane tho it says “supports i7 and i5 procs” leaving out the i3 makes me uneasy. Can anyone shed some light on this wether or not the i3 will work in this board?

Socket compatibility is obviously mandatory, but that doesn’t guarantee compatibility.
