This was my “question” today

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don’t?

With answer options of

  • FFE621

  • Yes

  • False

  • What about the other 8

First of it’s just an old IT/Maths joke

Secondly it’s not even a question

Thirdly, surely it should be Yes/No or True/False, not Yes/False

Mainly though, is that really the level the DC want’s to be at? Just a poor poor “question” to have in rotation IMO. What are other’s thoughts?

(I did select the correct answer BTW, it’s not sour grapes)

I agree with all three points. When I looked it I was also very confused about what It was asking for, so I’ve removed it from the pool.

I had this question opened in my browser while you were pulling it, and I am unable to answer it. :frowning:

For what it’s worth, my choice was “False,” as the correct answer, 101010, was not among those offered.

Brony did you a favour then, the “correct” answer is marked as True

A hat tip to Brony, but this was one I wouldn’t mind getting wrong.

Good joke but I agree, unless it has multiple right answers, it shouldn’t be a daily question.

I think this is a sign that we’re a bit too wound up about Daily Challenge. It’s not like there’s any money to be won here. The streaks and points are nothing more than bragging rights, so if we’re taking that too seriously, there may be some prioritization concerns here.

Well, if we’re discussing funny t-shirts, my favourite one is

!FALSE
It’s funny because it’s true

How can I make this into a Daily Challenge question?

Surely that last answer should have been “What about the other 1000?”
