I reset password and then it doesn’t work!! Logging onto Spiceworks is rubbish!

Where did you change the password? In the profile for SW (public site) and then trying to log into your own SW site. Are you an admin of SW?
Yeah, you might be having issues because your helpdesk account and community account are two different things.
Spiceworks doesn’t control the password to your local install.
