So one of my clients has had it with one of their outside sales people not handing in advertising quotes, and with another one taking THREE WEEKS to fax in his receipts for the previous month. (I know - *fax?!*) The General Manager has sicced one of the admin assistants on finding a more modern solution. Right now she’s eying Neat’s cloud-based business offering. She’s liking its multi-user setup, and that she can access everyone’s data from her desk.

My question to the SpiceMind is this:

Is anyone using a similar solution? Is anyone using Neat’s NeatCloud? How’s it working for you?

Also, it must be mentioned that both of the outside sales guys are Luddites. They can handle email and make calls on their iPhones, but not much else. Whatever the solution, we’re hoping for something that’s as close to “point your phone at it and press this button” as possible.

Given the Neat solution, they’re also considering purchasing Neat’s receipt scanners, so a small hardware investment in another solution isn’t necessarily out of the question.

Thanks for the suggestion, Christian. However, I’m less concerned about the hardware and more concerned about the software backing it. This will be a multi-user business situation, and I’m most concerned about getting data out of the system should it be required.
