Seeking a Desktop Support / Junior Systems Administrator.
Technical skills:
· Solid troubleshooting for support and resolution of day to day user issues in Microsoft Windows desktop environment.
· Proactive attitude toward network and desktop environment health.
· Desktop and server administration knowledge.
· Remote and phone support and troubleshooting methods.
· Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, security, and auditing in a Windows Server environment.
· Desktop, printer, and peripheral hardware setup, deployment, and management.
· Office 365 support and administration.
· Monitor and manage central endpoint security console.
· Comfortable updating firmware for various types of equipment.
· Windows update and patch monitoring, testing and application.
· Disaster recovery planning and implementation.
· Production of accurate and well thought out documentation.
Soft skills:
· Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
· A positive and patient attitude approaching the end user support process.
· Being able to self-diagnose and resolve issues through independent research.
· Adapting and overcoming obstacles to resolve problems under pressure.
