I an a consultant managing multiple clients, each having their own networks and domains. Is there a way for me to manage all of these clients from a single web login? I want to have my main spiceworks installation have multiple dashboards that I can see all clients’ networks and be able to manage them separately.
Also, how do I get these networks to communicate with my main spice works installation over the internet?

For a remote office, the best practice might be to use a Remote Collector.

You can find more detailed information at this how-to.
Remote Collectorsand Collecting Remote Office Inventory using Multiple Spiceworks
I know how the remote connector works, but how do I get the remote connectors to communicate with my main spiceworks installation over the internet without vpn? Also, how do I split up those networks inside of my dashboard if/when I get them to connect? Each location has the same local subnet. 192.168.16.3
I’m not sure about splitting the networks in the dashboards but you can create groups and add devices to the groups. As long as your main SW installation is accessible via HTTP, you can add additional site. The steps are listed on http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/283 starting at point 4.

Hi here.
I’m new to SpiceWorks, used to GLPI before, and I encoutunter the same “problem” as Adam.Smugala.
I have a SW Central in my home office, which is working great, but I’d like to manage Remote SW for my clients.
Here is the points :
- All the device can be share in differents groups, BUT if devices got the same HOSTNAME, SW change the original one wsith the last scanned one
- How can you manage multiple DashBoards so you can have : Home Dashboard / Client 1 Dashboard / Client 2 Dashboard / etc …
Didi I missed any post about this subject ? Sorry if it is the case …
Cordialy,

I am in the same boat… Has anyone come up with a solution to this?
Same here. I would like to be able to see each client location in a separate dashboard. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Don
Same here. Not all IT Pros have one client. We need a solution to this.
Another “me too” reply. I really like Spiceworks, but I am resorting to doing the things by hand “like a caveman” because it doesn’t understand the “clients” concept even in version 7.0.
Same issue here, need multiple client management
Same here.
It’d also be nice to be able to generate “Total Time Spent on Tickets” reports for individual clients, for billing purposes.
