I remember reading somewhere that the maximum number of devices is 250. Is that correct? What happens when you exceed that number? Any plans to extend the maximum? Thanks!

250 is more of a guideline as Spiceworks is mainly intended for SMB. The only issue you may have if you have many more devices is Spiceworks taking longer to finish a scan. Multiple users are running Spiceworks in a larger network.
